With many generations behind them a heritage of aesthetics, creativity, love for natural raw materials and entrepreneurship, with grandfathers who owned a cosmopolitan center on the one hand and a farmer on the other, with grandmothers who were expert cooks of Cretan and Asia Minor cuisine, the Kosmadakis brothers acquired deep childhood experiences around the flavors and their contact with the cultivation of raw materials. These are the things that have been rich resources for the formation of their professional identity.
Their love for gastronomy is expressed from an early age through studies, travel, bold experimentation and imagination , while it evolves through incessant and long-lasting research on a theoretical and empirical level and in the field of business.

Minas Kosmadakis, in continuation of his creative activity, in 2014, makes the first workshop of cosmilato ice cream in a village 15km from Heraklion, to supply his gastronomic tavern with ice cream, but also the business of his brother, Vassilis Kosmadakis, who was active in the center of Heraklion with handmade homemade dough products, always with quality in mind.

The people loved it from the beginning, recognizing with joy and gratitude the quality of the natural raw materials, the balance in taste and the detail in the texture of the ice cream they enjoyed.
Along the way, it didn't take long for enthusiastic comments to come from online gastronomy magazines and the growing love of the people who tasted it.

These elements, along with the increased demand, made the two brothers in 2018 join forces, talents and vision. They created in new premises the company KOSMADAKIS B & Co. in Heraklion, setting as a goal, together with their highly qualified team, to be able to offer this wonderful gastronomic result in places of high demands both in and outside Crete.
