dakri "ELLVINO"

"dakri" in Greek means "teardrop", so named because of the special shape of the mastic during harvesting, as it looks very similar to human tears.

The "dakri" is an innovation of ELLVINO distillery in the field of mastic. As it stands out from other mastic liqueurs for its characteristic milky colour, which is obtained by a completely traditional technique without any addition of colouring or preservatives. It even differs in its intensity of its aroma, which takes you back to the Mastic Villages of Chios, but also its taste and which causes an explosion of emotions

"dakri" and Certifications

"dakri" is still certified by the Chios Mastiha Producers Association and bears the certification symbol for the use of authentic and only first quality mastic.

In addition, it has been awarded the Gold medal in a well-known competition tasting (MTA).
