Professional chefs with Michelin, sommelier, F&B managers, renowned tasters, all with a high level of knowledge and experience and specialization in food and beverages, tasted and awarded one of the best products the favorite traditional liqueur of the distillery Tentoura Kastro Chachalis.

From 100% natural rose petal extracts
This is the only rose liqueur on the market which is produced exclusively from 100% natural rose petal extracts in a traditional way and without the addition of artificial aromas, that is, just as homemade liqueurs have been produced for a long time.

The rose petals of the famous, aromatic roses from Agios Georgios Sykousis of Chios are carefully collected by hand and used immediately after harvest, in order to utilize all their valuable ingredients. The result is a seductive liqueur with a strong aroma and rich taste, based on the old recipe of the Hachali family, which has been active in Patras since 1939, but still uses the “treasures” of the Chian land that is its place of origin.

Utilizing the beneficial properties of the rose
The new, improved product Rose Castle was created as part of the Research Program “Development of new bitter spirits from aromatic and medicinal plants with beneficial properties for health, Natubitters”, which is still in progress. During this Program, the distillery Hachali researches and utilizes the beneficial properties of, among others, the rose – primarily an aromatic plant – in collaboration with the Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine of the University of Patras.
